Top seers and intellectuals drawn from different countries will sit together and discuss ways to make the world a better place at the Simhastha (Kumbh) Mela to be held next year, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said today.
The Simhasta will be held in Ujjain district beginning April 22, next year.
"This time around, seers and intellectuals drawn from different countries will meditate and come out with a declaration to make the world a better place to live, at the Simhastha Mela," Chouhan told reporters here.

He said that seers and intellectuals are going to prepare a draft over the problems besetting the world in the run up to the mega religious event and discuss it during the Simhastha.
For this, a meeting of 106 such people, some of them coming from abroad, is being organised in here shortly, he added.
Chouhan said that preparations for holding the event are going on a war-footing adding that Rs 300 crore has been sanctioned for security arrangements at the venue.
He said that more than 5 crore people are expected to take part in the Simhastha Kumbh Mela.
