Seven policemen injured in landmine blast

Superintendent of Police (SP) Daljeet Singh said the explosion occurred near Banua crossing in the border of Dev and Dhibara police station areas.

Including Dhibara police station's Station House Officer (SHO) Indrajeet Singh.

The Naxalites also fired on the policemen who retaliated despite sustaining injuries in the landmine blast, Daljeet Singh said.

Additional policemen reached the spot and raids were being carried out to arrest the ultras, the SP said.
