Seven policemen suspended in Bihar

The accused, including a sub-inspector, were suspended on charges of dereliction of duty for letting Satish Pandey, lodged in Chapra jail, stop at the hotel for lunch violating the rules, SP Nitasha Gudia said.

Satish, who is the brother of JD(U) MLA Amrendra Pandey, is involved in several cases of loot, murder and kidnapping in Bihar and neighbouring Uttar Pradesh, she said.
