Shakira expecting second child

Shakira has confirmed that she is expecting her second child with longtime partner Gerard Pique.

The 37-year-old singer took to Facebook to share the news with her fans.

"Yes, we are expecting our second baby!! Thank you for all your well wishes!," she wrote yesterday.

Pop star had first revealed the news in a the September issue of a magazine.

Shakira and Pique already raise 19-month-old son Milan.
