Sharad Yadav condoles death of Rabi Ray

JD(U) leader Sharad Yadav today expressed condolences to the the family of noted socialist leader and former Lok Sabha speaker Rabi Ray, who passed away today.

In a letter to Ray's wife Saraswati, Yadav reminisced his association with the late leader and said with his demise, he has lost a guide.

He also recalled how he was elected as the Lok Sabha Speaker in 1989 when no party had any clear mandate.

Ray, 90, died today due to age-related ailments at SCB Medical College Hospital in Cuttack.
