Fallen socialite Melissa Berkelhammer has been reportedly evicted from the Fifth Avenue apartment where she had been living for over a year.
A city marshal arrived on June 24 and forced Berkelhammer, 38, and her septuagenarian mother to vacate the home of big-hearted actress Julianne Michelle, who kindly let Berkelhammer move in while Berkelhammer's place was supposedly being renovated, reported New York Post.
"It took hours to get them out. Julianne hired movers and a large storage space on East 62nd Street so that their belongings would not be thrown out or lost," a source said.

"Julianne is determined that the 30-day squatter law needs to be changed," her friend said.
The current law treats squatters as legitimate tenants after 30 days of occupancy.
Berkelhammer - a graduate of the fancy Chapin prep school, Princeton and Harvard Law - was arrested in May on charges of stealing USD 4,000 worth of bags and clothing from Bergdorf Goodman.
The Berkelhammers are now in a hotel, said Melissa's lawyer Mark Heller, who also said she is about to start working as a hostess at Joey Allaham's kosher steakhouse, Prime KO, on West 85th Street.
