Sick Pakistani sailor rescued off Goa

The ICG helicopter brought Shakeel Ahmed Jaitapkar, the sailor, to Goa shore after it was reported that he was profusely bleeding through the nose.

ICG spokesman said he was being treated at a Navy facility near here.

The vessel was about 65 to 70 nautical miles from Goa, on passage from Sohar (Oman) to Indonesia via Karachi and Colombo.
