Silver prices softened by 0.34% to Rs 37,104 per kg in futures trade today as traders cut down their bets at prevailing levels amid a weak global trend.
At Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in March fell by Rs 126, or 0.34% to Rs 37,104 per kg in a business turnover of 580 lots.
Similarly, the white metal for delivery in far-month May contracts was trading lower by Rs 89, or 0.24%, to Rs 37,486 per kg in 59 lots.

Market analysts attributed the weakness in silver futures to a bearish global cues.
Globally, silver traded marginally 0.03% lower at $15.20 an ounce in Singapore.
