Silver prices were down by Rs 138 to Rs 37,626 per kg in futures trade today as traders cut down their bets at prevailing levels amid a weak global trend.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in May fell by Rs 138 or 0.37% to Rs 37,626 per kg in a business turnover of 250 lots.

Similarly, the white metal for delivery in far-month July contracts was trading lower by Rs 140, or 0.37%, to Rs 38,080 per kg in 38 lots.
Market analysts attributed the weakness in silver futures to a bearish global cues.
Globally, silver traded 0.66% lower at $15.80 an ounce in Singapore today.
