Sitharaman visits Hedgewar memorial in Nagpur

Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today visited Hedgewar Smruti Mandir, memorial of RSS founder K B Hedgewar, here, and met senior Sangh leader Bhaiyyaji Joshi.

A press release from the RSS said she paid tributes to Hedgewar and his successor, M S Golwalkar, at the Smruti Mandir.

Joshi welcomed Sitharaman, it added.

The memorial is situated in Reshimbaug area, close to the RSS headquarters.

'Sangh Shiksha Varg', training camp for RSS volunteers, is underway on the premises of Hedgewar Smruti Mandir at present.

Sitharaman was on a day-long visit to the city, police sources said.
