Six animal smugglers arrested in J-K

Six smugglers were arrested today and 38 cattle rescued in separate incidents in Ramban and Udhampur districts of Jammu and Kashmir.

During checking, 31 cattle were rescued and three vehicles seized at Batote, Ramsoo and Jawahar Tunnel in Ramban district, police said .

Four persons were arrested in these raids, they said.

In another incident, a truck loaded with cattle was intercepted in Roundomail in Udhampur and two persons arrested.
