Six local teams will participate in the pre-qualifying round (Maharashtra leg) of the Indian Women's League, which is scheduled to commence at the Cooperage ground, from August 14.
The participating teams are MDFA Women's League champions, Football Leaders Academy, Bodyline SC, Kenkre FC, PIFA Sports Club, Football School of India and Rush Soccer, a media release issued here said today.
The Pre-Qualifiers League, to be organised by Western India Football Association, will be played on a double leg basis and the winners will get a direct entry to the qualifying round, which is scheduled to be held next month.
