Six of a family killed as hut catches fire

Six members of a family were killed after their hut caught fire in a village here, police said today.

The incident took place yesterday at Deoli Bhatpurva village in Colonelganj area.

The victims have been identified as Prema Devi (38) and her five daughters Sudha (12), Rekha (10), Nisha (7), Rupa (5) and Shikha (3), district magistrate in-charge Anjani Kumar Singh said, adding that the cause of the mishap is not immediately known.
