A six year old girl, student of a private school was today killed and three other girls were injured when the van in which they were returning to home overturned at Compucom circle of Sitapura area here, the police said.
The deceased was identified as Harishta Sharma, a class I student of SRN International School, police said.
Injured were rushed to nearby Mahtma Gandhi Hospital, and they were given first aid, they said.
There were about six students in the private school van (Tatamagic) when the vehicle turned turtle on the road side around 2:30 pm, the officer said.
Driver of the van fled the scene leaving students on the roadside, police added.
