SKIL Infra CEO Ajay Khera quits, co shuffles top deck

Construction firm SKIL Infrastructure CEO Ajay Khera has resigned, the company said today.

"... The board of directors in its meeting held today... accepted the resignation of Ajay Khera from the post of key managerial personnel under the category of chief executive officer (CEO), effective today i.E. Closing hours of Tuesday, May 9, 2017," the company said in a BSE filing.

It further said, "Uday B Singh has been appointed as an additional director of the company with immediate effect and thereafter as a whole-time director designated as executive director with effect from May 10, 2017, for a tenure of two years."
 

Singh will also be "designated as whole-time key managerial personnel under the category of whole-time director".

He has served as a revenue officer in various departments (Customs, Central Excise and Service Tax) of the Ministry of Finance. He took voluntary retirement as an IRS officer.

The company has also appointed Shekhar Gandhi chief financial officer with immediate effect. He will also be designated as whole-time key managerial personnel, it added.
