Slipknot guitarist charged following fight with his brother

Slipknot guitarist Mick Thomson has been charged with disorderly conduct by fighting following an altercation with his brother earlier this month.

The 41-year-old performer was reportedly stabbed in the back of his head during the incident which saw both Thomson and his 35-year-old brother Andrew hospitalised on March 11.

Following an investigation, Clive Police Department Chief Michael Venema has revealed that both men were responsible for the assault, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Both Mick and Andrew have been charged with disorderly conduct by fighting. A court date has been set for March 30.

Slipknot were recently joined by Korn and King 810 on their 'Prepare for Hell' tour of the UK and Ireland in January.
