Slow Loris rescued

A two-month-old endangered Slow
Loris was rescued by a villager from a paddy field of Lower Subansiri district.
Nido Talin, the villager from Dollungmukh, who rescued the endangered animal on Saturday, handed over the infant to the authorities of Biological Park at Itanagar yesterday for treatment and rehabilitation, curator Raya Flago said.
Slow Loris (Nycticebus Coucang), an endangered species of primate is listed in Schedule-I of Wildlife Protection Act, 1972.
