Small sugar continued its bearishness at the Vashi wholesale market here today on weak demand from stockists and bulk consumers.
While, medium sugar ended mixed owing to alternate bouts of buying and selling.
Small sugar (S-30) fell by Rs 38/37 per quintal to Rs 2,812/3,045 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 2,850/3,082.
Medium sugar (M-30) quoted at Rs 2,920/3,206 per quintal as against Rs 2,900/3,230.
Following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:
Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 2,812/3,045 (Rs 2,850/3,082).
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 2,920/3,206 (Rs 2,900/3,230).
