Snowfall leads to closure of J-K highway

The 300-km-long Jammu-Srinagar national highway was today closed for traffic because of snowfall and slippery road conditions at Patnitop and Jawahar Tunnel, police said.

No vehicle was allowed to cross Jawahar Tunnel for Jammu after 2 PM following continuous snowfall on the route, they said.
