Members of the Samajwadi Party today staged a walkout from the Uttar Pradesh Assembly, demanding a vigilance probe into experience certificates of teachers in homoeopathy medical colleges in the state.
The matter was raised during the Question Hour by SP member Ujjwal Raman Singh who wanted to know from the government whether it would conduct a vigilance probe into experience certificates of teachers posted in the homoeopathy medical colleges between 2000 to 2017.
In his replay, Ayush minister Dharam Singh Saini said that a probe was earlier conducted in this regard and there was no need for a vigilance probe.

Leader of the Opposition, Ram Govind Chowdhury, said when the government was recommending the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probes in every case, why it was shying away from ordering a vigilance probe in this matter.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna said that in cases where there was a matter linked to other states also, the CBI probe was recommended and in this case there was no need for a vigilance probe.
He said that a probe by higher official would be conducted in this matter.
SP members alleged that fake experience certificates were given by teachers.
Later, dissatisfied with the reply, SP members staged a walkout from the assembly.
