Special children, senior citizens visit naval base in Kochi

As part of Navy Week-2018 celebrations, special children and senior citizens of Kochi were taken on a guided tour of the naval base here Tuesday.

About 60 special children and nearly 100 senior citizens were taken on-board the navy ships Tir and Shardul, a press release from the defence said.

Besides the visit to ships, the visitors were treated to an exhibition and a film on the navy, the release said.

Later, they witnessed a 'continuity drill' performed by the navy personnel, it said.
