Following special trains which will be run by the Southern Railways to clear the extra rush of passengers during Onam Festival season.
A Railway press said Chennai Central-Thiruvananthapuram superfast special train (No.06007) will leave Chennai Central at 6.15 pm on August 28(Thursday) and reach Thiruvananthapuram at 11.00 am the next day.
Thiruvananthapuram - Chennai Central superfast special train (No.06008) will leave Thiruvananthapuram at 8.20 pm on August 31 (Sunday) and reach Chennai Central at 12.35 pm the next day.
The trains will stop at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Kayankulam and Kollam.
