Two women were killed today morning after being hit by a truck in the Sangipur area here, the police said.
Rama Devi (60) and Shashi Pal (32) were taking a walk alongside the road when a speeding truck hit them, police officials said.
Both the women were rushed to a hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.
The driver of the truck managed to flee leaving the vehicle behind, the police said.
