Spice Girl reunion not happening: Emma Bunton

Former Spice Girl Emma Bunton has denied the pop group will reunite for a tour next year.

There were reports that Geri Halliwell, Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm and Bunton were planning a reunion tour, 20 years after their first hit Wannabe in 1996, reported E! Online.

"Nothing's happening at the moment. If anything happens and it's concrete, and we decide on something, I will let you know," Bunton said.

Chisholm had tweeted, "Woke up this morning wondering whether I need to start practising my backflips???!!!"

Bunton was quick to revert to her.

"Do I need to put my pigtails in?!?!?"
 

Former member, Victoria Beckham, had taken part in the group's 2007-2008 reunion tour and their appearance at the London Olympics closing ceremony three years ago.
