There was no change in the pattern of trading at the wholesale kirana market with prices moving in a narrow range on little doing and settled around previous levels.
Traders said adequate stocks position against scattered demand mainly kept spice prices unchanged at previous levels.
Following are today's quotations per quintal:
Ajwain (per kg) 15,500-20,000, black pepper (per kg) 770-945, betel-nut (kg) 285-335, cardamom brown-Jhundiwali (kg) 1,400-1,430 and cardamom brown-Kanchicut (kg) 1,500-1,620.
Cardamom small (kg): Chitridar 740-790, cardamom (colour robin) 655-670, cardamom bold 680-700, cardamom extra (bold) 870-890 and cloves 725-860.
