Electing to bat, Sri Lanka were struggling at 65 for five at lunch against India in the first Test here today.

Off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin bagged 3 wickets to put the hosts on the backfoot after Ishant Sharma (1-7) and Varun Aaron (1-34) gave the opening breakthroughs.
