SSI stabbed; hospitalised in serious condition

A Special Sub Inspector was was stabbed when he attempted to intervene in a fight between two groups of friends and separate them at Pudupattinam village near Seerkazhi today, police said.

They said Dhandapani, aged about 55, had been rushed to the government hospital for treatment and was reportedly in a serious condition.
