Stand of AIMPLB shameful: VHP

Lashing out at the All India Muslim Personal Law Board and other Muslim bodies opposed to triple talaq, VHP today said their stand was "shameful" and against Muslim women as well as the Constitution.

Its Joint General Secretary Surendra Jain said the AIMPLB has politicised a matter being heard by the Supreme Court.

He also slammed the "secular" parties for supporting its stand, alleging it has exposed their "anti-women and anti- Constitution" facet.
