Business worth Rs 10,000 crore was affected in the banking sector in Rajasthan as a result of the nationwide strike of bank employees.
Most of 6,790 ATMs in the state ran out of cash in afternoon, Mahesh Mishra, the coordinator of the United Forum of Bank Unions, said.
He claimed that 27,000 employees working in 6,440 branches of 48 banks in Rajasthan were on the strike today.
Bank employees also demonstrated outside bank offices in C-Scheme and Chaura Rasta in the city.
