Strong winds in capital

The national capital today witnessed strong winds throughout day with the maximum temperature settling at 25.1 degrees Celsius, a notch below the normal.

Strong strong northwesterly winds blew at speeds between 18-25 kmh in parts of the city till 5.30 PM.

The minimum temperature settled at 12.4 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average, said a Met department official.

The winds significantly reduced the humidity level as it hovered around 33 per cent on the lower side and 67 per cent on the higher side.

The MeT department has predicted clear skies for tomorrow with the possibility of haze in the morning.
 

"The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to settle around 26 and 12 degrees Celsius, respectively," the official said.

Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 25 and 11 degrees Celsius, respectively.
