Student alleges ragging by senior at Medical College, Kolkata

A medical student has lodged a complaint of ragging against her senior, who is also a woman, in Medical College, Kolkata.

The matter came to light this morning after the 27-year- old student of post-graduation filed a complaint against doctor Kriti Agarwal that she had been ragging her for past several months.

Kolkata police sources said a case has been lodged and probe started.

The complainant also claimed that she took eight sleeping pills on December 6 to kill herself out of frustration over the ragging.
