Sugar hardens on consistent demand

Medium sugar (M-30) spurted by Rs 88/40 per quintal to Rs 3,210/3,291 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 3,122/3,251.

Small sugar (S-30) gained by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 3,092/3,161 as against Rs 3,042/3,111 previously.

Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,092/3,161 (Rs 3,042/3,111).

Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,210/3,291 (Rs 3,122/3,251).
