Sultry Sunday in Delhi

It was a sultry Sunday in the national capital with the mercury settling at 35.4 degrees Celsius, a notch above the normal for this time of the season.

"The maximum temperature was recorded at 35.4 degrees Celsius which is one notch above the normal and the mimimum temperature was recorded at 26.1 degrees Celsius, which is normal for this time of the season," a MeT official said, adding that there was no rainfall.

The humidity levels oscillated between 86 and 59 per cent.

The weatherman has predicted generally cloudy sky for tomorrow and maximum and minimum temperatures of around 36 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius respectively.
 

Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 35.9 degrees Celsius and 27.6 degrees Celsius respectively.
