Supporters of Venod Sharma resign from Congress

A number of sarpanchs and several party functionaries, considered close to local MLA Venod Sharma, today resigned from the Congress party.

They announced the resignation at a meeting at the residence of Sharma.

Former Union minister and senior Haryana Congress leader Venod Sharma had quit the party on March 5, saying he was unhappy with certain matters.
