Swamy's effigy burnt

Munnetra Kazhagam today allegedly burnt an effigy of BJP leader Subramania Swamy at the railway junction here.

Police said they shouted slogans against Swamy and condemned his reported suggestion to the Sri Lankan government not to release boats of Tamil Nadu fishermen.
