T'gana gram panchayats net Rs 50.65 cr in taxes in old notes
The gram panchayats in Telangana have collected Rs 50.65 crore towards taxes after the Centre allowed the citizens to pay levies in the demonetised currency notes.
This amount was netted between November 11 and 24, a state government release said.
Today's collection of taxes in the gram panchayats stood at Rs 5.28 crore, it added.
