Tata Sons Chairman Cyrus Mistry today said the group plans to set up hospitals in Jharkhand.
State Chief Minister Raghubar Das told Mistry that people go to other states for treatment.
His assurance came after Das urged him to set up a 500-bed hospital in Ranchi, a 300-bed hospital in Dumka and a cancer hospital in the state capital, an official release said.
Accepting Das' request, Mistry told him the company would soon initiate steps in this regard, the release added.
