Tata Steel Q1 consolidated Net at Rs 921.09 crore

Tata Steel today posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 921.09 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2017.

However, the company had posted consolidated net loss of Rs 3,183. 07 crore in April-June quarter of FY'16, Tata Steel said in a filing to BSE.

The company's consolidated total revenue from operations during the April-June quarter increased to Rs 30,973.3 crore as against Rs 25,970.7 crore in the year-ago period.

Shares of Tata Steel closed 4.26 per cent up at Rs 600 on the BSE today.
