Taylor Swift celebrates birthday with friends

Country singer Taylor Swift spent her 24th birthday with her close friends - including fellow singer Lorde.

The singer shared pictures with her party guests - including Lorde - after holding a Melbourne garden party to mark the occasion, reported Ace Showbiz.

"The best birthday I've ever had," Swift posted on Instagram.

The 'I Knew You Were Trouble' hitmaker, who was wearing a red and blue floral dress, was surrounded by her friends in the photographs and took to the social networking site to thank her fans for their birthday wishes.

"My 24th birthday was a Melbourne garden party. Thank you for all the birthday wishes," she said.
