A tea garden owner was kidnapped by unidentified assailants in Assam's Tinsukia district today, the police said.
Prabin Sharma, a small tea garden owner, was kidnapped from his garden at Tokoupathar village by three unidentified persons.
The assailants fired in the air while taking Sharma away and the police has launched a massive search operation to rescue him, the sources said.
