Teacher held on charge of arms smuggling

Acting on a tip off, police raided the house Ajay Kumar and seized two pistols from there before arresting him on charge of arms smuggling, police said.

He said that the teacher got wind of the police raid and tried to destroy evidence by throwing into a well a large quantity of weapons.

Efforts were on to take out weapons from the well, police said.
