Teachers revoke boycott of checking of std 12th answer-sheets

Maharashtra School Education Minister Vinod Tawde today said the junior college teachers had agreed to cooperate for checking of std 12th board exam answer-sheets.

Tawde issued a statement today after meeting a delegation of Maharashtra Junior College Teachers' Federation.

The Federation had earlier said its members would not check the std 12th answer-sheets until certain demands were met.

Among other things it had demanded permanent appointment for the temporary teachers who are working in government-aided colleges since 2012.
