Teenager shot dead over dance dispute in marriage function

A teenager was shot dead in a marriage function over a dispute while dancing in Mirzapur district, police said here today.

The incident took place last night in Dubha village when Varun Mishra (17) was shot by one Dinesh Shukla with his licensed pistol over a dispute while dancing, they said.

He was rushed to the hospital, where he was declared dead.

An FIR has been registered in this regard and police has launched a manhunt to nab the accused.
