The Telangana government today increased the daily duty allowance of Home Guards.
The daily duty allowance has been hiked from Rs 400 to Rs 675 per day, a state government release said.
Further, a pollution hazard allowance will be sanctioned to each of the 2,500 Home Guards engaged in traffic duties, on par with traffic police constables at 30 per cent on the honorarium, the government order said.
