The Night watchman of Sri Agneeswarar temple At Tirukattupalli near here was found murdered with the throat strangulated at the temple early this morning.
Police said the Hundial of the temple was found broken and locks of the sanctum sanctorum of the Goddess temple and Agneeswarar temple were found broken.
Intial investigation revealed that the articles in both the sannadhis were intact.
