Ten awarded life imprisonment for murder

A Nalanda fast track court today awarded life sentence to 10 people in the murder of a person over land dispute in the district five years back.

Additional District Judge Rajesh Pandey passed the verdict and slapped Rs 10,000 penalty on each of the accused.

One person was killed and two others were grievously injured in a violent clash over s land dispute at Munnadih in Nalanda district on May 9, 2011.

The attackers were residents of the locality and were locked in a land dispute with the victim.
