Three terror suspects taken to Karnataka in connection with a case there were brought back and lodged in the central prison here, a top prison official today said.

The three suspects, Police Fakruddin, Panna Ismail and Bilal Malik, were brought back here late yesterday, a prison official said, requesting anonymity.

They were arrested in connection with the murders of several Hindu outfit leaders including Madurai Suresh, Arvind Reddy and S Vellaiyappan.

They were also allegedly involved in the 2011 Madurai pipe bomb case that targeted BJP leader L K Advani.

The trio were taken on June 20 to Bangalore based on a court order by Karnataka Police for investigation in certain cases.

The three are among the 14 accused in the April 17, 2013 Bangalore BJP office bomb blast case. A chargesheet has already been filed in the case in October last.
