Tewari targets SAD-BJP government over law and order

Referring to incidents of killing of an ASI in Amritsar and a recent hotel brawl in Ludhiana in which a police officer was injured, Tewari accused Akali Dal of patronising criminal elements.
The Union minister, who was addressing a gathering at Galib Kalan village near here, claimed that the law enforcing machinery in the state was feeling "threatened" and "intimidated" under the present rule.
Tewari, who represents the Ludhiana constituency in Lok Sabha, accused the state government of "misguiding" the masses by making "false" promises.
He further claimed that all sections of the society have got "disillusioned" from the state government.
