Multi-camera comedy series "The Exes" has been cancelled by the network TV Land after four seasons, says its actress Kristen Johnston.

She revealed about the cancellation on her Twitter page, saying they all saw it coming, reported Deadline.

"Well, it's official: LAST 6 eps of 'The Exes' EVER start airing this Weds. Even great ratings can't #SaveGoodTV," Johnston, 47, wrote on Twitter, adding, "Honestly, we all knew it was a probability. The last 6 are the best yet."

TV Land has not responded yet to emails seeking confirmation.

13 days ago, when rumours of "The Exes" end surfaced, the network denied that the show had been cancelled.

This completes TV Land's brand transformation into a destination for edgier, single-camera original comedies.
