Three of the four abductors who had kidnapped a non-tribal man from his residence here on Saturday were arrested from Lengpui village, Mizoram Home Minister R Lalzirliana told the Assembly today.
In a statement, Lalzirliana said that the three arrested persons belonged to the Mizo Youth Service Corps (MYSC) an Aizawl-based NGO headed by a retired Indian Police Service (IPS) officer.
Thomson Lalrambuatsaiha (29), C Zohmingliana (29) and Lallianmawia (32) were arrested on Sunday in connection with the abduction of Aklas Uddin (30).
A search was on for the other abductor, a former cop, he said.
